Today is Earth Day and my birthday.
Earth Day is younger than me. The Earth herself older. She’s like a mother to me. I am planning to spend today and the whole weekend on Earth so we can celebrate our special days together. I might even stay on into next week.
The Earth is always so generous and has constantly showered me with gifts since the day I was born. In return I sing to her, laugh with her and write her poems and love letters.
I am excited about the wonders she has in store for me this year.
