As an old year curls up and a new one unfurls, many of us set resolutions or goals for the next twelve months (weeks/days?).  Whether your resolution is personal or professional; about health, wealth, love or learning, you might enjoy these tips for goal-making:

1:  Be specific.

Visualise your completed goal.  What will it look and feel like?  How will you feel inside?  What difference will it make to your life?  How will it encompass you and how will you reflect it externally?

2:  Be personal.

To make a goal happen, it has to be all about you and your life.  You cannot make goals for another, only for yourself.  We are all responsible for our own life, success, happiness, dreams.

3:  Be positive.

A goal is a change for the better.  It changes the way you exist and how you see the world.  A goal opens you up to see, learn, evolve into a new way of being.  A new shoot on your tree of life.

4:  Let go of fear.

Take notice of doubts and fears but do not culture them.  Let them go.  Fears and doubts are external.  They can be left behind, blown away, left out to dry.  Water only the seedling dreams inside yourself.  These grow our resolution and manifest our goal.

5:  Know yourself.

We can only shine brightly if we keep our inner lamp burning with food, water, rest and compassion. Set boundaries and choose your priorities. Focus on forward. Keep breathing.

We are all going to meet stardom/stardust at some point.  Few of us know when or how.  If you want help prioritising your goals, send me a message in 2022.  It’s the future!
